Other, Better Places to Visit

Internet Movie Database

Fact is, you could spend quite some time on the pages of the Internet Movie Database.  Not only does it have oodles of information about films including extensive data on actors, Directors, and Producers, the site also provides discussion forums and information on movie versions  etc.  An invaluable site, and free!

J.G. Ballard

There is far too little talk about books these days - movies yes, but the written word is largely ignored until some Producer wakes up and makes a movie about it.  More is the pity, because writers such as J.G. Ballard have been creating new worlds for us, worlds that movies would struggle to adequately portray, for more years than I care to remember.  Ballard is unique, so the term "Ballardian" is used to describe works he has influenced.  Check out this site, which has a design I envy!

All Music

If you thought the Internet Movie Database is cool, check out this site which has a wealth of information about all genres of music.  The amount of information available here, for free, is just astonishing.  It also covers all types of music, so you're bound to find something of interest.

The Celluloid Tomb

It's Jack!  More movie reviews with cool poster art, and he even allows you to comment on each review that's posted.  Jack is from the Anchor Bay UK forums (see below), so you can hurl abuse at him whenever you want.

Anchor Bay UK

Not only do Anchor Bay UK put out some great movies to the R2 market, they even have the unique ability to go chat to them, and about them and movies, on their web site via a healthy forum.  Check it out, sign up, and let us know what you know.  You'll find both myself and Jack there... somewhere.
